Vestido Lady Tragedy

De uns tempos para cá, acabei descobrindo uma nova paixão: Vestidos! Sejam eles longos, curtos, vintage ou contemporâneos, descobri que esta icônica peça é capaz de vestir qualquer mulher com qualquer estilo. Além de ser super confortável e fresquinho, eles possibilitam uma facilidade muito grande para criar looks.

Some time ago I've discovered a new passion: Dresses! They can be long, short, vintage or even contemporary. I figured out that this iconic vestment is able to fit in any woman with any style. Besides being very comfortable and fresh, dresses allow you to create a lot of different looks.

Já fazia um bom tempo que visitava a página da Lady Tragedy para admirar as criações da talentosa Jelly Maciel. Cada peça criada pelas suas mãos, é responsável por arrancar suspiros, acreditem!

I'm a regular visitor of Lady Tragedy's page and I'm always admiring her (Jelly Maciel) talented creations. The pieces created by her hands are to take out our breath. Believe me!

Como se não bastassem os corsets, figurinos, lingeries vintage e mais uma infinidade de roupas e acessórios, a Jelly começou a criar lindos vestidos retro. Fui me apaixonando mais que rapidamente por cada um deles, porém, quando vi este com estampa de pin up's não houve dúvidas, o queria para mim. Resultado: Ganhei de presente do C. Strife!

Beyond the corsets, vintage lingeries and a lot of other clothes and acessories, Jelly started to create beautiful dresses with retro (old style) themes. I felt in love very quickly by each one of her dresses, but, when I saw this one with "pin up" stamp, my doubts gone away: I wanted it! And, so, I received the dress as a gift from C. Strife!

Hoje pela tarde fui surpreendida por uma pacote que chegara dos Correios para mim. E lá estava o vestido, embrulhado cuidadosamente em uma caixinha florida. Dentro da caixa havia uma bolsinha linda cheia de poás e com um lação, nesta bolsinha estava o vestido.

This afternoon I been surprised by a package. And there was the dress, wrapped in a flowered box. Inside the box was also a beautiful purse with a big lasso. Within this purse was the dress.

Ainda não o usei, mas experimentei e ele me caiu como uma luva.

I did not used the dress outside my home yet, but I tried and it dressed very well. I've took some pictures especially for you!

Passeio de domingo.

Hi girls and guys!

No domingo passado resolvemos juntar as tralhas e irmos todos para o Horto Florestal de Campos do Jordão.

Já fazia um tempinho que eu estava precisando me sentir em contato com a natureza, ouvir os pássaros, deitar na grama, rir com os amigos...Foi muito bom!

Last sunday we decided to feel ourselves in contact with the nature, listen to the birds, lay down in the grass, laugh with friends... And it was very good!

Chegamos na hora do almoço e fomos fazer um lanche caprichadíssimo. No finzinho da tarde fomos até o lago das carpas para admirá-las, são lindas e enormes!

We got in there in lunch time and we had a delicious snack. In the end of the afternoon we walked to a lake full of carps and they are beautiful and huge!

Papo de Homem #11

Para quem pensou que o nosso Papo de Homem tinha acabado, aqui estou eu - C. Strife - de volta ao blog. Primeiramente, quero dizer que foram meses muito corridos e atarefados. Ao adquirir um braço a mais para minha empresa, a Watchmaker Marketing Digital, tive que me dedicar muito a isso e fiquei praticamente sem tempo para mais nada, inclusive para nossas postagens másculas semanais.

If you thought that our male chat had ended, here I am - C. Strife - returning to the blog. First, I wanna say the last months were very busy. I bought a small business to be the "right hand" of my main business, the "Watchmaker Digital Marketing", and I had to dedicate myself only to this period of transition. I had no time to anything else, including to our weekly male posts.

Hoje voltamos com um assunto que envolve dor e coragem, ou seja, é assunto de macho! Tattoo! Claro que, hoje em dia, devemos deixar o machismo de lado e não podemos esquecer que tem muita mulher por aí se tatuando e, diga-se de passagem, fazendo menos frescura do que muito marmanjo barbado.

Today, we're back with a subject, envolving pain and braveness, I mean, a subject for true men: Tattoo! Of course, nowadays, we must put aside the sexism and we cannot forget that a lot of women are being tattoed and, indeed, they are doing less ceremony than a lot of bearded men.

Só quem tem uma tattoo (eu tenho 5 até o presente momento) sabe como é suportar as agulhadas. A dor, de fato, não é insuportável, mas, não deixa de ser um incômodo. Também há a seguinte questão: Há pessoas e pessoas; Cada um reage a dor de uma forma diferente.

Only a person who have a tattoo (I have five till the present moment) knows how is to bear the pain of the needles. The pain of a tattoo, indeed, is not unbearable, but we can say it is a nuisance. Also, there's the fact: There are people and people; Each one reacts to pain in a different form.

Agora, como estamos em um blog sobre assuntos retro/vintage, separei para vocês algumas fotos de pessoas muito descoladas de décadas onde ter uma tattoo ou percing o tornava alvo de muito preconceito e, assim sendo, era preciso ter atitude para cuspir na cara da sociedade. As fotos foram obtidas na internet e no blog Rock'n Tech.

Now, as we are in a blog about retro and vintage subjects, I separated some pictures of cool people of another decades. Those times, having a tattoo or a piercing was a good reason to suffer prejudice and, so, you had to be brave to spit in the society's face. The pictures were obtained in the internet and, also, in the Rock'n Tech blog.

Se você quer fazer uma tattoo com temática antiga e cheia de estilo como as das pessoas acima, procure pelo termo "old school" e sempre tenha muita confiança em seu tatuador. Remover uma tattoo é um processo caro, demorado e doloroso!

If you're planning to make a tattoo with retro or vintage theme, search for "old school". And, also, always make sure you trust your tattooist. Removing a tattoo is a expensive, long and painful process.

Hi girls and guys!

Hoje venho mostrar para vocês, os livros que acabaram virando meus objetos de desejo após ver a Trilogia "O Senhor dos Anéis". Eles são do meu marido, que é fã dos contos de J.R.R Tolkien (inclusive tem uma tattoo com escritas em élfico no braço). 

Today I'll show you the books that became my desire objects after watching the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The books belong to my husband, and he's a big fan of J.R.R Tolkien and his stories (he have a tattoo written in elven language on his arm).

Fazem parte da nossa coleção, outras obras de Tolkein, como o O Hobbit e o Silmarillion. 

"The Hobbit" and "Silmarillion" are also part of our Tolkien collection.

Já li o primeiro livro da Trilogia e também o Hobbit...São apaixonantes!

I've read the first book of the trilogy - The Fellowship of the Ring - and, also "The Hobbit". The books are lovely.
